National Festivals
Willy has been featured at the NATIONAL STORYTELLING FESTIVAL in 2001, 2002, 2004, and 2006. In 2007 he headlined for National Story Night.

Willy offers workshops in a range for beginners to professionals, including the use
of puppets, creating personae, finding voices; the business of storytelling; adapting legends; finding and
creating stories; and combining music and storytelling, especially the use of the narrative ballad.

Willy’s Repertoire
An ideal festival teller, Willy has an extensive repertoire: a wealth
of ballads from Scotland, England and the United States (he also sings in French);
family misadventures set in the woods of New Hampshire --
chickens in the basement, Shakespeare on the phonograph, bats in the attic,
robots at the bedside, and mischievous animated furniture;
tall tales, songs, and counter culture calamities from the
Coast of Maine; Mother Moose stories with Maynard Moose;
folk tales from around the world, and traditional frog-juggling tunes.
